Club Community Guidelines

At StoriBoard Club, we aim to create a welcoming and respectful environment for all members. These Community Guidelines outline the expectations for behaviour, attendance, and interactions, both online on our platform and in person at events. By participating, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. Violations may result in restrictions, suspension, or, where necessary, reporting to law enforcement.

 

Respectful Behaviour

1. General Conduct

​

• Treat all participants with kindness and respect.

• Refrain from engaging in disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.

• Respect dining etiquette, including timeliness and consideration for venue staff and other diners.

 

2. Harassment and Bullying

​

• Harassment, intimidation, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

• Personal attacks, insults, or discriminatory remarks are strictly prohibited.

 

Attendance

​

• Confirm attendance for events and notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.

• No-shows or late cancellations without prior notice risk being restricted from future events.

• A three-strike policy applies for late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice):

  1. Three strikes: Banned from purchasing tickets for three months.

  2. Two strikes: Must purchase an additional ticket before rebooking.

  3. More than 24 hours’ notice: Can reschedule up to three times before needing to purchase a new ticket.

 

Behaviour at Venues

• Follow the venue’s rules and respect their staff and property.

• Avoid loud, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.

• StoriBoard Club is not liable for incidents occurring at venues or outside the Website.

 

Prohibited Activities

 

1. Violence and Harmful Behavior

​

• Threats, violence, or physical altercations are banned.

• No associations with extremist or terrorist groups.

 

2. Sexual Misconduct

​

• Sexual harassment, inappropriate comments, or actions are strictly prohibited.

• Nudity, explicit content, or promoting sexual services is not allowed.

 

3. Hate Speech and Discrimination

​

• Hate speech or dehumanisation based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or other characteristics will not be tolerated.

 

4. Dangerous or Illegal Activities

​

• Selling, distributing, or promoting illegal drugs or controlled substances is banned.

• Associations with dangerous organisations or promoting violence are prohibited.

 

5. Commercial Activity

​

• Selling or promoting illegal or regulated goods, or engaging in fraudulent activities, is strictly forbidden.

 

Content Guidelines

 

1. Inappropriate Content

​

• Sharing explicit, graphic, or harmful content is not allowed.

• Spreading misinformation, conspiracy theories, or scams is banned.

 

2. User-Generated Content (UGC)

​

• Respect the rights and privacy of others when sharing content.

• Content should comply with these Community Guidelines and the StoriBoard Terms and Conditions.

 

Safeguarding and Reporting

 

1. Safeguarding

​

• Members are responsible for their behavior and should report any issues promptly.

 

2. Reporting Violations

​

• Violations of these guidelines can be reported through WhatsApp or by contacting help@storiboard.co.uk.

• Serious violations may be escalated to law enforcement where necessary, including harassment, violence, or illegal activities.

 

Examples of Prohibited Conduct

• Nudity or Sexual Activity: Sharing explicit images or making inappropriate comments during events.

• Bullying: Insulting or intimidating another participant.

• Hate Speech: Making derogatory remarks about someone’s race, religion, or identity.

• Commercial Activity: Promoting illegal or counterfeit goods.

• Controlled Substances: Offering or discussing illegal drugs.

• Violence: Threatening harm to another member.

 

Enforcement

• Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • Warnings or account suspension.

  • Permanent bans for repeated or severe violations.

  • Reporting to authorities in cases of criminal activity.

 

Dining Etiquette Guidelines

 

To ensure a pleasant experience for all, we ask that all members follow these dining etiquette tips:

1. Arrive On Time

Punctuality is key to ensuring the evening flows smoothly and respectfully. All dinners are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM. Please make every effort to arrive on time.

2. Bill Payment

When it comes to splitting the bill, please pay for what you ordered unless otherwise agreed upon by the group. If others have ordered less, be mindful not to shift the burden of extra costs, such as additional drinks or courses, onto them.

3. Notify Us in Advance

 

We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or adjust your attendance, please inform us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email at theclub@storiboard.co.uk. This helps us manage the event more effectively and accommodate others.
